I am a fully qualified and insured member of the Association of Reflexologists, which represents excellence in the field of reflexology.
I first discovered reflexology in my early twenties whilst seeking a relaxing, holistic therapy to support me through a particularly stressful time. The treatment was so soothing and restorative. I became fascinated by the techniques and theory and thought how great it would be to be able to practice reflexology and support other people in the same way.
In 2014, I embarked on a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology. Studying and practicing alongside my career in the magazine publishing industry, I qualified in November 2015. After relocating from London to Kent to raise a family, I decided the time was right to launch Lemon Tea Reflexology in 2023. I contacted Wye Reflexology Academy and enrolled in additional reflexology courses. Learning new skills and techniques to incorporate into my treatments. As a member of the AoR, I am dedicated to continuing my professional development and undertake courses to expand my knowledge and expertise in the field.

My niece suffered terribly from anorexia and bulimia and my sister so worried and as all other counselling and psychotherapy just didnt work for her, decided to give Dawn's soul healing a try... I have just had the most incredible Crystal Healing with Dawn. I had no expectations upon entering the treatment room but when I left I literally felt like a new person. I'm open to holistic approaches and have an interest in this area but even I was surprised at how powerful this treatment is. At one point I literally felt I was floating on air ..... it was an absolutely magical sensation.
After an extremely difficult few months and feeling very lack lustre and emotionally drained Dawns amazing healing touch was just what I needed.
My visit finished with a salt room treatment and herbal tea looking out over the beautiful gardens ..... charming, serene and enchanting The Shakra Centre is a fabulous place to find yourself again and reconnect with what is important. I was told the words no one wants to hear and that leave you numb.... "I have to tell you that not only do you have prostrate cancer but it has spread to your bones" Now the well meaning sympathy and encouragement start to flow from family and friends. The physical side of coping like tablets and diet click into place as you fight any further intrusion.
But no one knows how you feel, the fears and worries in your mind. Those close to you are so preoccupied in trying to ease your situation they cannot sense how you truly feel. So you reach out for anything to help you cope. I decided to try mindfulness/meditation to help with the turmoil in my mind particularly at night trying to sleep.
The Shakra Centre ran sessions on meditation and almost at once I found myself becoming less stressed and sleeping sounder but I still needed to talk about my cancer and get guidance from an impartial source.
Nowhere does there seem to be a self help group but fortunately I started a one to one course with Dawn who has used her expertise in crystal healing, hypnotherapy etc. to bring out the negativity in my mind and enable me to concentrate more on the positive side of my life. She has made me address my ways to be more about me rather than spending all my energy worrying about those close to me all the time. Being able to talk with folk in the same situation, understanding you are not alone, discovering little things that others are doing to improve their thoughts etc. I am sure will help us all come to terms with our burden. Having a self help group with dawn leading for those who are in a similar place with cancer can only be beneficial. DP

I have just had the most incredible Crystal Healing with Dawn. I had no expectations upon entering the treatment room but when I left I literally felt like a new person. I'm open to holistic approaches and have an interest in this area but even I was surprised at how powerful this treatment is. At one point I literally felt I was floating on air ..... it was an absolutely magical sensation.
After an extremely difficult few months and feeling very lack lustre and emotionally drained Dawns amazing healing touch was just what I needed.

I was told the words no one wants to hear and that leave you numb.... "I have to tell you that not only do you have prostrate cancer but it has spread to your bones" Now the well meaning sympathy and encouragement start to flow from family and friends. The physical side of coping like tablets and diet click into place as you fight any further intrusion.
But no one knows how you feel, the fears and worries in your mind. Those close to you are so preoccupied in trying to ease your situation they cannot sense how you truly feel. So you reach out for anything to help you cope. I decided to try mindfulness/meditation to help with the turmoil in my mind particularly at night trying to sleep.
The Shakra Centre ran sessions on meditation and almost at once I found myself becoming less stressed and sleeping sounder but I still needed to talk about my cancer and get guidance from an impartial source.
Nowhere does there seem to be a self help group but fortunately I started a one to one course with Dawn who has used her expertise in crystal healing, hypnotherapy etc. to bring out the negativity in my mind and enable me to concentrate more on the positive side of my life. She has made me address my ways to be more about me rather than spending all my energy worrying about those close to me all the time. Being able to talk with folk in the same situation, understanding you are not alone, discovering little things that others are doing to improve their thoughts etc. I am sure will help us all come to terms with our burden. Having a self help group with dawn leading for those who are in a similar place with cancer can only be beneficial. DP

The first session I had with Dawn, she expressed she was picking up on an area around my neck and at the time I was experiencing much discomfort as I had 2 lumps come up on my neck which had been slowly increasing in size and were quite sore and painful. Marks story....
Mark was born with a defect in his right foot and leg and had major operations very young and at 18months had the lower part of this right leg amputated. During healing we worked on removing emotional issues and trauma from childhood and managed to regain 'feeling' in the lower right limb. "The only way I can explain the sensation is that I can feel my old 'real' leg over the top of my prosthetic.artificial leg"!
COVID
Long covid issues include exhaustion, cramps and pain similar to fibromyalgia and our holistic treatments help relieve these symptoms. Use of the salt room too will help relieve respiratory issues as it aids breathing. Clients with lung cancer and asthma have found the salt cabin to be a positive influence on their comfort and recovery.
With recent Covid scare, it has released emotional and mental fears that had been previously repressed alongside physical symptoms. With clients Dawn has already seen since re opening back in July 2020 there is a common theme.... just trying to distract yourself just to be able to 'cope' not knowing if they or family members will become sick, whether ever able to return to work again, feeling trapped but frightened to go out and so on....
The reactions and repressed anxiety we have seen from our clients is similar to holding their breath for months! Childhood fears and phobias returning or surfacing for the first time. For many of us we are having to deal mind and emotional issues while facing major changes in our society and trying to return to 'normal life'. For many people this anxiety is new and unnerving but be assured these treatments are discreet and private and all new clients will have a short consultation to ascertain problems and discuss together how we can help relieve them. Due to the recent outbreak of Covid19 and the extreme pressure we have seen our friends and customers including NHS health professionals currently undergoing, we are looking to extend our services of PTSD and Trauma therapy in a flexible programme to both group and individual clients.
Having much success of treating PTSD and trauma clients over the last 5 years in our holistic centre, we aim to open exclusively for private group treatments and sessions during the week and only be open to the public at weekends, which ensures confidentiality and freedom within the centre for ultimate respite, relaxation and discretion

Obviously we have made additional adjustments to the layout to abide by current regulations and PPE will be worn as appropriate by all therapists.
We have much experience in working confidentially with NHS nurses, Paramedics & Police on an individual basis and we are able to offer both personal and group therapies in these areas to emergency services plus to other corporate business that feel their staff would benefit from receiving emotional support, relaxation treatments and respite. This is also available for family and friend groups.
A range of group and individual therapies are available and we can personalize a suitable programme to suit your needs.
